HARLINGEN-Like hundreds in the Valley, Carolyn Horsley is on dialysis. Her kidneys no longer work.

She's in her fifties, but says she feels like she's in her eighties.

Carolyn's been on dialysis for five and a half years. The average life expectancy for a dialysis patient is six years.

NEWSCHANNEL 5 gave Carolyn a video camera to document her struggles and her search for a kidney donor.

In her video journal, Carolyn introduces us to her home care provider, who's witnessed the obstacles she's faced.
