Woman caught with hundreds of pounds of marijuana

ROMA - Starr County's drug task force arrested Elizabeth Garza near Salineno over the weekend with more than 400 pounds of marijuana.

At the time of her arrest, she was working as a teacher's aide at Ema Vera Elementary School in Roma.

Parents were shocked when they found out one of the faculty was arrested on drug charges.

Garza has been suspended from her job without pay pending further investigation.
