Border Fence Gets Mixed Reviews

Residents say federal agents told them where they planned to build it

GRANJENO--- Residents of Granjeno have mixed reactions about the proposed border fence that could go right through their backyards.

Rafael Garza lives in Granjeno he tells us federal agents came to his home to talk about where they have their sights on building the fence.

For Garza it would be right behind his home, an area he says he once roamed freely. He tells us the barrier would be offensive, and change the way his family lives.

Not all agree with Garza however, the Delgado family also lives in Granjeno, and they tell us the border fence is a great idea.

They tell us they're not afraid of illegal immigrants crossing, they're afraid of terrorist, and if a structure is going to help keep them out, then they are all for it.
