Border Fence Raises Environmental Concerns

Mexican government willing to file complaint with UN

MEXICO CITY - The Mexican government wants the US to expand an environmental impact study of a border fence.

Officials say they want the US to make changes in the plan. They claim the planned fence s along the US-Mexico border would threaten the migratory species used to roaming freely across the border.

The Mexican government says it wil l file a complaint with the United Nations' International Court of Justice if necessary.
