Videographer claims couple delivered materials late
HARLINGEN - A pair of newlyweds in Harlingen say their wedding videographer is in breach of contract.
Three months after their wedding, the Uribes still don't have a copy of their video.
"It's a video nightmare is what it is," says Martin Uribe.
He says they signed a contract with a company called Video Treasure. The couple says the contract states the video would be delivered within eight weeks. But they still don't have a DVD copy of their November wedding.
Paul Campbell was the videographer.
Uribe recalls his conversation with Campbell. He tells us, " ... 'You only get married once Paul, you know. I trusted you. I left my marriage in your hands to capture the special moments... Where are they?'"
NEWSCHANNEL 5 spoke with Paul Campbell. He told us his contract clearly states the video will be delivered within eight weeks upon delivery of the materials for the video.
He claims the Uribes didn't give him their materials until late December. Campbell admits his delivery is late. But he tells NEWSCHANNEL 5 he will complete and deliver the DVD to the Uribes within a few days.
Campbell admits there has been a minor delay in producing the video. He blames equipment malfunctions and a heated message Uribe left on his phone.
Uribe also admits he lost his cool and told the police chief off.
Uribe's wife says it's been an emotional rollercoaster. The couple tells us they are considering hiring an attorney.
