Stand-off

Man held 2-year-old hostage

WESLACO - A man is in custody after a stand-off with police.

It started around 3 a.m. at a residence near the intersection of Bridge and Sugar Cane in Weslaco.

Witnesses tell NEWSCHANNEL 5 the man was holding a 2-year old girl hostage at knifepoint. We're working to confirm that information.
