Three men renting the home arrested

MISSION - A tip led officers to 6,000 pounds of drugs.

The tipster called police after noticing several bundles of marijuana being stored at a home north of Mission. Mission officers and Hidalgo County sheriff's deputies led the taskforce to the location.

They swarmed the house near Six Mile and Minnesota Road and arrested three Mexican nationals. The men were renting the home. They told officers they didn't know the drugs were there.

Investigators seized the 6,000 pounds of drugs and six vehicles. There's no word yet on what charges the three men may face.
