Suspect caught in Mexico

MISSION - A man accused of a deadly road rage shooting is in Mission police custody.

Mission police worked with Mexican authorities to bring 28-year old Daniel Castaneda back to the U.S. Officers say he's responsible for shooting and killing 21-year-old Pablo Magallan.

It happened at the 300 block of Melba Carter Street on Friday night.

According to police reports, Castaneda tried to run Magallan off the road. Police say when Castaneda was confronted about the incident, he pulled out a gun and shot Magallan.
