Navaira severely injured in tour bus crash

HOUSTON - A critically-injured Tejano musician is improving at a Houston hospital. Doctors say Emilio Navaira is opening his eyes and moving his limbs.

The singer, known to fans simply as Emilio, has been in a coma since his tour bus crashed early Sunday. He's now slowly regaining consciousness.

Police say Navaira was driving the bus, when it crashed. He reportedly went through the windshield. He suffered brain injures and had undergone surgery.
