Harlingen Teen Stabbed
One in custody
HARLINGEN - A teenage boy is dead, and the 18-year-old suspect accused in his murder is behind bars.
It happened at the 600 block of West Buchanan Street in Harlingen overnight.
Police tell NEWSCHANNEL 5 an officer driving in the area noticed a fight. When he approached the group, everyone ran, except for the victim who fell to the ground with a stab wound to the stomach.
He was taken to Valley Baptist where he later died.
Police arrested a second teen in connection with the murder.
