Cause of blaze under investigation

LA JOYA - The Hidalgo County fire marshal says 14 acres burned in a blaze in La Joya.

The fire broke out near the intersection of Tom Gill Road and Quail last night. Several homes and Pena Elementary were threatened. But the blaze was contained just in time.

The fire marshal's office is now investigating how the fire got started.
