Purse Snatcher Linked to Mission Robbery

Man stole woman's purse outside H-E-B

MCALLEN - Police caught a purse snatcher, who's also wanted for a convenience story robbery in Mission.

McAllen officers say the suspect grabbed a woman's purse outside an H-E-B parking lot. It happened on Pecan Boulevard and Ware Road.

The man was arrested moments later for aggravated robbery.

Investigators say the purse snatcher is also wanted for robbing a Mission Stripes store.

Surveillance video recorded the robbery. It shows two men pull a knife on the clerk and demand money.
