Robbery Suspects Arrested
Agents will continue patrolling
MCALLEN - The U.S. Border Patrol's plan for hurricane evacuations is stirring up some controversy.
Officials tell NEWSCHANNEL 5 agents won't stop patrolling if a hurricane were to hit the Rio Grande Valley.
If evacuations take place, agents will be out looking for anyone without documents. They'll keep them in custody until the threat passes and then deport them.
Civil rights groups say it is a disregard for human life. But agents argue they must still protect against terrorism.
