Andy Rios Trial Date

Ex-constable accused of theft

EDINBURG - A trial date has been set for Hidalgo County Constable Andy Rios. He'll be in court in August on theft charges.

Rios was charged with three counts of theft by a public servant last year. He's accused of taking county property and keeping the money for himself.

Rios lost his re-election bid for Precinct 4 Constable in March.
