Body found along Brownsville road

BROWNSVILLE - Sheriff's deputies are investigating a body found along a Brownsville road.

They tell us they're treating the case as a homicide until the autopsy reports are in.

The body was found on Indiana Road, just east of Southmost Road this morning.

Police and Border Patrol responded to the call. NEWSCHANNEL 5 has learned the person was not a U.S. citizen.
