Families return to survey damage

ALTON - Alton families are beginning to clean up the mess left behind by yesterday's storm.

The Zuniga family lost everything. But they tell us considering everything that happened, they're just glad to be alive.

Strong winds ripped through their trailer home tossing them and their belongings in the air.

Josefina Zuniga tells us the wind picked her up and tossed her several feet. She was cut up and bruised. But she says she knows things could have been much worse.

The Zuniga family has requested help from the Red Cross and is hoping to pick up the pieces and move on with their lives.
