MISSION - A weekend ceremony is planned to honor Specialist Alex Gonzalez.

The Mission native was killed in Iraq, when a rocket-propelled grenade hit the vehicle he was in. The City of Mission, along with members of America's Last Patrol, will host a flag-raising ceremony.

It'll be held Saturday at 6 p.m. at the Gonzalez home, located at the 2200 block of Barbara Street in Mission.

The public is invited to attend.
