Officers looking for people who knew homeless man

EDINBURG - Police say a man killed in an overnight accident was possibly intoxicated at the time.

A car hit 64-year-old Tommy Agatcha Wright, while he was walking along the 2600 block of North McColl. The driver involved stopped to help after the accident.

Right now, it appears the driver won't face charges. But police say they're waiting on blood results to make a final decision.

Meanwhile, investigators haven't been able to track down any of the victim's family. We're told Wright was homeless but kept to the Edinburg area.

Police say they're hoping someone who knew him will come forward. If you know more about the victim, you're asked to call 289-7700.
