Victim found along road

DONNA - Sheriff's investigators say a Donna man was possibly beaten to death. They've ordered an autopsy to confirm the cause of death.

The body of 29-year-old Guillermo Garcia was found off Salinas and Hutch Road early this morning.

We're told Garcia had left his home last night around midnight to go to the store, but he never returned.

His truck was found off with the keys in the ignition and the engine running. And a few blocks from the truck, Garcia's body was found on the side of the road.

The Sheriff's Department tells us they have some leads. But they're asking anyone with information to call them at 383-8114.
