HARLINGEN - A Harlingen police officer shot last week may be out of the hospital this week.

NEWSCHANNEL 5 learned Officer Carlos Diaz is continuing to recover at the Valley Baptist Medical Center. Doctors say he won't need any more surgery.

Diaz was shot during a traffic stop.
