Hurricane Dolly Blows Tank Under Intersection

TX-Dot works to stabilize tank

ALAMO - A tank rolled under the intersection of the Expressway and Cesar Chavez Road.

Police believe the debris was not tied down. It actually rolled there from a neighboring business.

Tuesday night, San Juan police blocked off the overpass to traffic while TX-Dot crews worked to get the tank stabilized.

There weren't enough crews to dislodge it, so for now, the tank will remain in the same location.

The intersection of Expressway 83 and Cesar Chavez is open, but police ask drivers to be cautious through the area.
