H-E-B DISASTER RESPONSE UNIT SET UP IN HARLINGEN The 57-ft. trailer is retro-fitted to provide essential services to area residents affected by Hurricane Dolly

Corpus Christi, Texas - In the wake of Hurricane Dolly, H-E-B is setting up its Disaster Response Unit (DRU) at H-E-B in Harlingen, located at 613 S. Expressway 83, Harlingen, TX, 78550, staffed with H-E-B Partners (employees) and the H-E-B Emergency Preparedness Team.

The H-E-B Pharmacy Center inside of the DRU will be ready to dispense emergency medical supplies and medications, including the leading 800 maintenance medicines. A fully-equipped business center will allow customers to cash checks and utilize Western Union. Credit cards are accepted, and the DRU has a working ATM on the outside. The H-E-B DRU canopy will provide a large covered area to keep customers waiting in line for services cool and dry.

The DRU will be at this Harlingen store until the store is up and running.

The safety of employees and customers are the top priority to H-E-B. The H-E-B Harlingen stores are not open at this time. Services will only be provided from the DRU. H-E-B will re-open stores as soon as electricity is restored and they are deemed safe for employees and customers. Updates will be distributed regularly.
