Murder Suspcet Arrested
Charges include tampering with records and perjury
BROWNSVILLE - Former Cameron County District Attorney Yolanda de Leon has been indicted on charges of tampering with governmental records and perjury. A Cameron County grand jury issued two indictments against her. She'll be arraigned on those charges in two weeks.
The indictments focus on confidential information released to district attorney candidate Peter Zavaletta during the March primary election.
