Suspect Arrested after Hit-and-Run in Brownsville

One person in critical condition

BROWNSVILLE - A car plows into three people overnight. Now one man is behind bars being questioned as a possible suspect.

Around midnight, a car hit three people walking in the parking lot of Gold's Gym on Sunrise Boulevard in Brownsville. One of those victims is in critical condition at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen. The other two are in good condition and should be released from the hospital today.

Police are looking at a black SUV with front end damage as a possible suspect vehicle. The driver of that SUV was arrested for DWI and could face more charges if he was involved in that hit and run.
