One man arrested

BROWNSVILLE - A Brownsville man is facing intoxicated manslaughter charges after being involved in a fatal motorcycle accident.

It happened last night at the 2100 block of Old Port Isabel Road.

Police say the driver of a Chevy Lumina was driving on the wrong side of the road, when he reportedly hit a motorcyclist head-on.

The person on the motorcycle was transported to a local hospital, where he died.

Police say the driver of the car was intoxicated when they arrested him.

He is expected to be arraigned tomorrow.
