Teacher Arrested Latest
Two students made outcry to CPS worker
EDINBURG - A teacher was arrested for allegedly touching two female students inappropriately.
Nelson Galloso is a teacher at the South Texas Business, Education, Technology Academy and a retired serviceman.
He's been charged with two counts of indecency with a child and two counts of improper relationship between an educator and student.
Allegations surfaced in April. A Child Protective Services worker says two female students, ages 15 and 17, made an outcry to her.
They claimed Galloso inappropriately touched their breast and butt. He'd allegedly rubbed his body up against theirs and put his hand underneath their shirts.
The two young girls were students of Galloso. Their parents pressed charges.
NEWSCHANNEL 5 learned Galloso is on administrative leave.
