Dolly Aftermath

Landowner claims county and other agencies haven't helped

MISSION - One man says the floodwater from Hurricane Dolly are continuing to rise two weeks after the storm.

John Larson says 15 acres of his property are under at least three feet of water, and it just gets deeper every day.

"I just feel I ended up being the garbage dump for all the water, because it came from somewhere else," says Larson.

His land near the intersection of Inspiration Road and Mile 9 is under water, causing him to lose money.

Larson grows and sells hay. But he says he'll have to replant and start over because of this.

He tells NEWSCHANNEL 5 he's contacted the county and several agencies to help, but so far, no one has come out.

We'll continue to follow this story.
