Courtney Martinez has been a student at Truman Elementary since kindergarten. She passionately takes on all challenges presented to her and excels every time.

Courtney has been competing in UIL spelling, ready writing, math, and number sense since second grade, always taking one of the top three places in any given event.

In addition to UIL, she is involved in chess, student council, and has effortlessly been the lead in school plays. She juggles all her responsibilities while maintaining All "A" Honor Roll.

At the young age of ten, she will confidently share her plans to attend St. Mary's University and become a lawyer.

Because of her numerous achievements, maturity, and confidence, Courtney Martinez is a kid you should know. I'm glad I know her.
