HIDALGO COUNTY - A disabled veteran is struggling to pay rent this month after someone tricked her out of $2,100.

Gretchen Trejo said her problems stated with a Craigslist posting. She called 5 On Your Side for help.

"I opened up Craigslist and just started looking," Trejo said.

CAMERON COUNTY - A woman says a contractor took her money and never returned to finish a house-leveling job.

Angela Banda said she hired Joseph Vargas, with the Workx Company, at the end of March. The house and the materials were left untouched.
