Muro Falters at NAIA Nationals

GREENEVILLE, TN - The task has become more difficult for UTB/TSC freshman golfer Alainey Muro at the NAIA National Championships.  Muro slumped from a first day 77, four over par for the round, to a total of 15 shots over par after 36 holes.  Muro is currently tied for 72nd, 19 shots off the lead.  She has 18 holes to improve her position to the top 40 golfers in the field to continue tournament play on Friday.

GREENEVILLE, TN - UTB/TSC freshman golfer Alainey Muro is in good company after the first round of the NAIA National golf championship.  Muro, from McAllen, is six shots off the lead and in an 11-way tie for 38th place after a 4-over par round of 77.  144 girls will be back on the course for Wednesday's final round at the Link Hills Country Club.
