For 12 years, CHANNEL 5 NEWS has partnered with Buckner Children and Family Services to help needy children through the Shareable Wearables Clothing Drive.
Compass Bank joined the partnership inviting the community to clean out their closets and donate their new and gently-worn clothing during the drive that was held in April.
Through these efforts, thousands of items were collected. With the help of local social service agencies, they were distributed to more than 20,000 children in need in 2009 alone.
