PROGRESO - CBP officers found 22 pounds of Mexican brown heroin hidden in a pickup truck's batteries.
The drugs were seized at the Progreso International Bridge Monday. Officers tell us say 21-year-old Amanda Lee Gonzalez from Weslaco was driving the truck.
She was taken into custody on federal drug charges. We're told the drugs had an estimated value of two million dollars.
