LAREDO - Laredo authorities are searching for a driver involved in a hit and run accident that left an officer injured.
Yesterday, an officer on a motorcycle was struck at the intersection of Loop 20 and Saunders Street in Laredo. Officials say the driver failed to stop and render aid.
The officer was rushed to the hospital with a broken arm.
Police searching for a red Nissan Maxima with left end damage.
Investigators believe the driver may be headed towards the Valley.
