LA JOYA - Things are back to normal at Tabasco Elementary in La Joya.
The school was placed under lockdown earlier, while DPS troopers searched for a suspect nearby.
Officials tell CHANNEL 5 NEWS they tried to pull over the driver of a Nissan Xterra, but he refused and led them on a chase.
The driver lost control of the vehicle and rolled over. We’re told he managed to get out and fled on foot.
A helicopter was brought in to search for the man, but they have been unable to locate him.
