Truck Catches Fire, Fire Spread to Grass

NORTHERN HIDALGO COUNTY - Fire crews responded earlier to a grassfire in northern Hidalgo County north of Redgate on 281.

Pictures from a CHANNEL 5 NEWS viewer showed a truck engulfed in flames. The flames spread to the nearby grass.

We're told the driver of the truck did manage to make it out OK.

Crews were able to contain the fire.

No major injuries were reported.
