HIDALGO - Yesterday, the Killer Bees Jesse Bennefield told CHANNEL 5 NEWS, the biggest key in playing three games in three days was taking each game, one step at a time.
Last night, the Valley's pro hockey team was beat by Arizona, but today the Bees were back on the ice, and they were also back in the win column as they took down Amarillo 3-2.
Joel Irving, Bennefield, and Grant Goeckner-Zoeller all had scores for RGV.
Meanwhile, Wylie Rogers racked up 28 saves as the Killer Bees improved to 2-3 on the season.
The Valley's pro hockey team is back in action tomorrow afternoon with a contest in Laredo.
