McALLEN - While the players have come and gone, one thing has remained the same at McAllen High School; head coach Tony Harris. Entering his 17th season as the Bulldogs' coach, Harris has a new challenge with a nine-team district. McAllen's new opponents will include the PSJA and Weslaco schools along with San Benito. Although the Bulldogs have some youth on their varsity roster, Harris says the team has enough talent and senior leadership to reach the playoffs for the seventh straight season.
