DONNA - Border Patro seized $700,000 worth of drugs after two bust South of Donna.
In the first bust, agent pulled a driver in a Honda Accord over for speeding. As they searched his vehicle, authorities found two bundles of pot in the passengers seat and four bundles in the trunk. The the driver was arrested and charged.
In the second bust, agents spotted another speeding driver FM 493 and Military Highway. Agents tried to pull the driver over but he refused to stop. That's when the driver lost control of his vehicle then ditched the car leaving behind the drugs. Inside the car, authorities found eight bundles of pot.
In total, nearly 900 pounds of marijuana are now in police custody.
