HIDALGO COUNTY - Hidalgo County Election officials are using a new system to reduce the possibility of voter fraud during today's elections.
The software program is called Vote Safe. It allows poll workers to view the entire county voter list, which helps prevent people from voting at two locations.
The system is also environmentally friendly, because all the election day information is saved on computers.
