11 Valley Schools Earn 2018 National Blue Ribbon Schools Recognition
WESLACO – Eleven Rio Grande Valley Schools were named as recipients of the 2018 National Blue Ribbon Schools.
The program recognizes high-performing schools located across the country. To be considered for recognition, a school must be nominated by the commissioner of education.
On Monday, the U.S. Department of Education announced that out of 349, 11 local schools earned their name on the list.

The schools will be honored at an annual awards ceremony in Washington, D.C.
