2 women die in Houston apparent murder-suicide

HOUSTON (AP) Houston police say a domestic dispute has left two women shot to death in an apparent murder and then a suicide at their home.
Police on Wednesday did not immediately release the names of the women who died in the New Year's Day argument at a house.
Sgt. Robert Blair says it appears one woman fatally shot the other before killing herself late Tuesday afternoon. The victim managed to call 911 before being slain.
Further details on the women and what prompted the argument weren't immediately released.
