EDINBURG - Officers released two women questioned in a possible money laundering case.

Edinburg police took the women into custody, after finding cash on one of the women and in her luggage. In addition to the cash, officers confiscated a Lincoln Navigator.

It happened Tuesday at the TA Truck Stop on Highway 281. The first woman taken in for questioning had just gotten off a bus from San Marcos. The second woman detained was also at the scene.

Officers haven't said how much money was seized.
