MISSION - Authorities arrested three men accused of running drugs from Roma to Mission.

Avelino Garfias Zetina, Rogelio Acosta Silva and Juan Gilberto Garza Jr. were charged Tuesday. Members of a multi-agency task force arrested the trio after a drug bust Monday.

Mission police say the men have criminal ties deeper than street-level gangs.

Investigators said they watched the trio store bundles of marijuana in a home at 2215 East 20th Street, half a mile south of FM 495 and Shary Road.

Police say they found 400 pounds of marijuana inside two rooms.

"Based on the information, they have been looked at for a while until they took them down," Mission Police Sgt. Manuel Casas said.

Police said Garza is from Roma. He is the only United States citizen of the three. Immigrations and Customs Enforcement placed a hold on Acosta and Zetina.
