PORT ISABEL - Two men and three women were arraigned on charges of fraud at the municipal courthouse on Sunday.

Two others were arrested at a home in Willacy County on Saturday.

Game wardens say the group lied about catching fish in three divisions of the Lady's Kingfish Tournament on South Padre Island last week. They won several thousand dollars in the event.

Investigators say one of the fishermen has confessed to the crime. If convicted, all seven could face up to 10 years in prison.
