EDINBURG - A man accused of shooting at a crop duster was charged with three felonies - one count of deadly conduct and two counts of having a prohibited weapon.
A judge set Richard Lisboa's bond at $600,000. He's now being held at the Hidalgo County jail.
Sheriff investigators say Lisboa shot at the plane, because he doesn't like crop dusters flying near his property. The pilot told CHANNEL 5 NEWS he didn't know Lisboa was upset.
A nearby farmer who has had run-ins with Lisboa before said people need to tread carefully when working the land around the suspect's house. The case is still under investigation
