WESLACO – One more person in the Rio Grande Valley tested positive for mumps, bringing the total to seven.

The 22 confirmed or possible cases are all connected to the same group of people, according to Hidalgo County Health and Human Services Chief Administrative Officer Eddie Olivarez.

The county has found four more possible cases not related to the others.

Olivarez explains if you feel sick, have a fever or an ear ache, go to a doctor.
