FORT HOOD, Texas (AP) A grass fire on a Fort Hood range has burned more than three square miles.

Officials at the Central Texas post on Monday did not immediately provide an update on the status of the wildfire.

Fort Hood authorities say the fire was discovered Sunday morning at the Browns Creek range. Nobody has been hurt.

Grass fires last week at Fort Hood burned nearly two square miles on two ranges. No injuries were reported and no homes or structures were damaged.

Fort Hood is about 70 miles north of Austin.
