Armed Men Storm Home Demanding Drugs and Money

EDINBURG - Victims of home invasion report at least 10 armed men knock down their door and demand cash and drugs.

Edinburg Police say the home invasion happened on 2616 North M Road in Edinburg. The victims told police the men had S.W.A.T. on their shirts and demanded money and drugs.

The victims reported the men took some televisions and a cell phone. Police are searching for a four door pick up truck possibly blue in color with L.E.D. headlights.

No injuries were reported.

When CHANNEL 5 NEWS spoke with neighbors they said a similar incident happened to them last year. A neighbor who didn't want to be identified said, "In December they broke into our house. It was some guys who had mask over their faces they were looking for drugs or money. We have kids and it is pretty dangerous, people coming by and breaking into your house, it is not right."

The woman also told CHANNEL 5 NEWS when she spoke with an investigator they told her this wasn't the first time a similar case happened in her home. She said they told her a similar home invasion happened at her home two year ago before she lived there.
