BROWNSVILLE - The La Feria business woman known as The Park Girl will not be arrested again.

A judge had issued a warrant for Jo Leigh Ares last week after she failed to appear in court. When she showed up the next day, the judge dismissed the warrant.

Ares is accused of taking money from dozens of customers without giving them mobile homes or clean titles to those mobile homes. She faces more than a dozen misdemeanor counts for deceptive trade and theft.

She's also fighting a civil lawsuit and going through bankruptcy.
