EDINBURG - Hidalgo County authorities are searching for a set of uniforms stolen from a jailer's home.

The Hidalgo County Sheriff's Department issued a bulletin to all law enforcement agencies informing them of the theft.

Hidalgo County Sheriff Lupe Trevino said at least three khaki-colored uniforms and an equipment belt were taken during a burglary at the detention officer's home. He said the officer lives in Donna.

Trevino said the officer did not have a county-issued firearm.

The thieves also took electronics and money from the home.
